it’s not new technology. you’re just making excuses for the douche car makers. EV is both easy to make and quite cheap except for a large amount of batteries. it’s much easier to make than a combustion engine car, they are just not getting into it because they’re douches. I don’t see this concept car as an honest effort.

New cars and technology are ALWAYS expensive first…that’s how they pay for the research. The technology will eventually “trickle down” to vehicles that we can all afford. Be happy that Audi is doing this!

on December 24th, 2009 at 3:48 am
OK bummer, I can’t afford it.

The car is beautiful but the way he describes at the start is a real turn off. They need to hire a writer. I am available.

electric cars still require plug in… Electrical recharge of the battery requires plugging into a CO2 intense system. Do a search on YouTube with key words “Highway” Inductive” 2.0″

I hope the electronics on this Audi are better than the cars they produce now.
on December 24th, 2009 at 3:48 am
Someone needs to take a look at Tesla’s Roadster and Model-S.

Dan “pig crap” Neil. Infamous for defending GM’s decision to holdout on the production of electric cars. Scared of bikes, too. The LAT had to find a more masculine writer to do handle motorcycles. Goofy.
